Women of Dorset expect the rise to continue as there have been several high profile attacks on women in recent months: 

In October 2022 a woman was raped after four men approached her in Wooton Gardens (Behind Old Christchurch Rd) (1)

On Sunday, January 1, 2023 a woman was sexually assaulted by a man in the female toilets at the venue Revolution. (2)

On Sunday 26 February 2023 a woman – was walking in the area of Lansdowne Road, between the flyover above the A338 and Beechey Road, between around 1.30am and 1.45am when she was sexually assaulted by a man. (3)

On Friday, August 11, At 4.04am, Dorset Police received a report that a woman had been raped by a man in Horseshoe Common. (4)
